European Youth Meeting for Sustainable Development 2011 (EYM2011) Opening Ceremony

 The Opening Ceremony for European Youth Meeting for Sustainable Development 2011 will take place on the Town Hall Square on the 19th of July beginning at 18:00 that serves as the cultural and opening event of EYM2011 with performers and speakers from Estonia, Europe and representatives from elsewhere. Among the participants are all EYM2011 delegates, 150 people from 70 countries across Europe and elsewhere (Asia, Africa, America), but the event is open to all interested.
On the Ceremony, the President of the Republic of Estonia will make the opening speech. Musical program is conducted by renowned choir director Aarne Saluveer, among the performers are Estonian TV’s Girls Choir and Georg Ots Tallinn Music College Big Band and others performers. The Ceremony includes the presence of special guests from Council of Europe, UNEP, UNDP, Stakeholder Forum, European Youth Forum, Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Estonian Ministy of Social Affairs, Estonian Ministry of Environment and other ministries. Tallinn City Government representatives will participate and also many ambassadors of countries represented.
The Opening Ceremony will be broadcast through the internet with the assistance of Estonian Public Broadcasting onwww.err.ee and www.eym2011.eu
